KUANTAN: Two prison warders hit a detainee, whom they and five others are accused of the murder, in separate places in Penor Prison after recapturing him, the High Court heard yesterday.
Prosecution witness Sopian Yadi Hamzah, 21, said he saw Prison Inspector Suhaimi Nordin hold Mohd Shukri Mohd Yusof’s head and bash it against his knee at a swamp area just after the detainee was rearrested.
