PETALING JAYA: The shooting of a 19-year-old VCD peddler in Penang has raised calls from various groups to rethink the use of guns by enforcement personnel from government agencies.
Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (Fomca) vice-president Koris Atan called for a suspension on the issuing of firearms to these officers, saying the present situation did not warrant it.
