KUCHING: The state Public Works Department and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the production of renewable energy, particularly in rural areas.
Under the memorandum signed yesterday, both parties will work together to implement renewable energy projects to benefit rural communities and explore new technologies that can be adapted to meet local needs.
