KUALA LUMPUR: Slight damage to the kitchen and swimming pool of a hotel in Penang – that is about the only setback for the tourism industry in Malaysia as a result of the tsunami on Dec 26.
This was disclosed by Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, when refuting foreign media reports that the tsunami had caused a lot of destruction to the whole of Malaysia.
