IPOH: Although Chinese New Year is still a month away, the Chinese community here is wasting no time – they are already buying decorative items to usher in the Year of the Rooster.
Trader Yeoh Bit Heong, 33, of Lian Bee Wholesale Market here said her customers said they wanted to get the items early for their homes and shops to “kick off” the New Year atmosphere.
