PUTRAJAYA: To meet the urgent need for workers for various industries in the country, the Immigration Department will place its officers in key Indonesian cities and towns to clear the return of those who left during the amnesty period.
With the Malaysian officers there, the processing period would take no more than five days, provided the workers have complete documents, like valid passports, said Home Affairs Minister Datuk Azmi Khalid.
