LANGKAWI: They called their group ‘The Waves of Mercy’ and they are on a search and rescue mission to look for survivors and victims along the eastern shores of devastated Aceh that are difficult to reach by land.
The 50 volunteers, comprising doctors, medical assistants and support staff, started their journey of hope in two yachts from the Tanjung Lembong cargo port here, yesterday.
