PETALING JAYA: After five attempts, challenger Syed Shahir Syed Mohamud has ousted Zainal Rampak, who has been at the MTUC helm for the past 20 years.
Delegates at the congress' triennial conference here yesterday, gave 287 votes to the new president, who is the executive secretary of the National Union of Transport Equipment and Allied Industries Workers (NUTEAIW).
