KOTA BARU: The Kota Baru Municipal Council (MPKB) has warned hotels, restaurants and other premises, including the Chinese Assembly Hall, not to hold Christmas and New Year celebrations without an entertainment permit.
Its public relations director, Azman Mohd Daham, said MPKB had identified about 10 premises likely to hold entertainment activities without its approval during the festive breaks, in contravention of the council's Control of Entertainment and Places of Entertainment Enactment 1988.
