MIRI: Investigations by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs show that Malaysians owning vehicles registered in Brunei may be among the main culprits responsible for siphoning off subsidised diesel here.
The ministry’s branch office head, Balwant Singh, said enforcement officers now probing suspected diesel scams here had come across cars registered in Brunei with illegally modified fuel tanks.
