FLOOD HITS: (Dec 11) Floods wreaked havoc in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, forcing the evacuation of 4,583 people and leaving at least two persons drowned. Train services in the East Coast were also disrupted and several roads closed following continuous heavy rains.
MORE DROWN: (Dec 12) Eight more people have died in the east coast states and more than 10,000 evacuated in floods, which have been described as the worst in recent years. The deaths bring the flood death toll 11 in the past four days.
