IPOH: Former Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) president Dr Syed Husin Ali has been elected Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president in the first elections of the newly-merged party.
According to unofficial results announced last night, Dr Syed Husin obtained 794 votes defeating incumbent deputy president Abdul Rahman Othman, who polled only 261 votes.
