PENANG: The ferry fare for cars is likely to be increased by 10% from RM7 to RM7.70, while that for foot passengers may double from 60 sen to RM1.20.
Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) managing director Datuk Ahmad Ibnihajar said its proposed fares were submitted two years ago to the Transport Ministry and the PPSB only received a verbal reply from the state government this year.
