BANGI: Business tycoon Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary has received the government's nod in the fight with Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin for the prized 15.8% stake in DRB-Hicom Berhad.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the Government favoured Syed Mokhtar’s bid based on his higher offer of RM3.60 per share against Nasimuddin’s RM3.50.
