KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) has received a sponsorship for RM127,000 for the Malaysian Press Awards from its main sponsor Petronas at the Petroleum Club.
Its corporate planning and development division vice-president Nasaruddin Md Idris said the sponsorship was one way of showing the national oil company's appreciation for the media.
