Thumbs-up for tagal system in protecting rivers

KOTA KINABALU: A community-based environmental conservation effort by Sabah’s indigenous groups has been effective in protecting certain rivers. 

State Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Rahim Ismail said the tagal conservation system needed to be introduced in more rivers due to increased environmental degradation.
