PENANG: A policeman and three others pleaded not guilty in a magistrate’s court here to gang robbery involving RM50,000 and a handphone two months ago.
The policeman, Zakaria Ismail, 41, of Bukit Mertajam; traditional medicine seller Syed Adenan Syed Abdul Rahman, 42, of Sungai Petani; and Shahfinaz Baser, 23, and Muhamad Irwan Shah Murad, 19, both unemployed and from Tanjong Tokong, are alleged to have committed the robbery with six others while armed with a parang.
