KUCHING: None of the nearly 30 land dispute cases between native customary rights owners and logging or plantation companies in Sarawak referred to the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) has been resolved.
Commissioner Dr Mohd Hirman Ritom said about 80% of the 35 complaints it received in the past five years involved claims that logging and plantation companies had encroached into customary rights land.
