Apec leaders launch initiative for expanded trade

SANTIAGO: The 21 leaders of Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (Apec) have reaffirmed their commitment to multilateral trading system and trade liberalisation. 

In a joint statement issued here on Sunday, the leaders, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, pledged to continue the momentum in negotiations under the WTO Doha Development Agenda.
