Hindus protest arrest of leader

HINDU organisations in the country have submitted a memorandum to the Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur to protest the arrest of Jayendra Saraswati, one of India's top Hindu religious leaders, reported Tamil Nesan and Malaysia Nanban

According to the dailies, a delegation led by Malaysia Hindu Sangam national president Datuk A. Vaithilingam handed over the memorandum to a High Commission official on Tuesday.
