KAMPAR: The news that the Singapore Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) will carry out checks on the hygienic condition and duck samples have brought cheer to the 39 duck farm operators in Perak.
The operators, who have been suffering losses since the ban by Singapore on the import of ducks on Aug 18 are hoping the ban willbe lifted after the checks from Nov 22 to 26.
