Raya plans go up in smoke

SINGLE mother Noredi Mohd Yusof was all set to celebrate Hari Raya, but her plans were shattered when her house in Kampung Bahagia, Rompin, was destroyed in a pre-dawn fire, Berita Minggu reported. 

Noredi, 40, said although she was saddened by the incident, she was thankful that all her five children and her 72-year-old mother were safe.
