KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia recorded the world's highest increase in total education expenditure from 1998 to 2001, according to the 2005 Education for All Global Monitoring Report.
The report, launched by Unesco yesterday in Brasilia, Brazil, says Malaysias total expenditure increased by 68% in the three years, compared with 45% for Cambodia, 6% for the United States and Britain and 5% for Thailand.
