MIRI: An emergency supply of some 3,000 litres of diesel has been airlifted to the Bario highlands in interior northern Sarawak to help schools and villages that are facing a shortage of the fuel.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry arranged for the supply over the past few days following an urgent appeal by the rural folk who had been facing the problem for the last two weeks.
