KUALA LUMPUR: A marketing executive and a retiree were granted a combined award of over RM30,000 by the Consumer Claims Tribunal on Wednesday when the respondents to their claims failed to turn up.
In the first case, 30-year-old Jeevan Jaganathan was granted the RM16,488 compensation he sought from New Acres Sdn Bhd, which is in charge of maintenance and security for Mediterranean Apartments in Shah Alam where he resides.
