KAJANG: Unlike other Muslims, most of the 1,200-odd Muslim inmates at the Kajang Women’s Prison are not looking forward to Hari Raya – this is the time of the year when they miss their families most.
The coming festival will be a sombre time for Siti (not her real name), 28, from Pasir Gudang and the mother of an eight-year-old son, as she will not be celebrating Hari Raya with her husband for the first time since their marriage.
