THE National Fatwa Council has ruled that placing flowers at the graves of loved ones is acceptable as long as the practice does not breach the principles and teachings of Islam.
However, since the practice is not an Islamic tradition, the council hopes it would gradually fritter away, Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia reported.
