KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu, the leading party in the state Barisan Nasional, wants all elected representatives from the deregistered Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) to join the newly formed Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).

Its president Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, who is also the Chief Minister, said this would help restore Dayak unity besides enabling the elected representatives to continue the mandate entrusted to them when they were elected under the Barisan banner.
