JOHOR BARU: A state Welfare Department employee's retirement party turned sour when he was arrested by Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) officers for allegedly taking an RM8,000 bribe to obtain a MyKad for a man without an identity card.
Johor ACA acting director Simi Abdul Ghani said the 52-year-old man, who opted for early retirement, was arrested after the party at a hotel at about 6.15pm on Friday.
