KENINGAU: A midnight seizure of more than 2,000 litres of diesel on Monday is prompting Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry officials here to investigate if petrol station dealers are abetting those involved in the illegal sale of the subsidised fuel to industries.
The ministrys state enforcement chief, Rosli Ahmad, said yesterday that the seizure of fuel worth RM16,080 in Kota Kinabalu also indicated that a syndicate was involved in the sale.
