THE failure to open rest areas could be one of the reasons for the high number of accidents on the East Coast Expressway, Utusan Malaysia reported.
Pahang police traffic chief Deputy Supt Wan Mohd Samsudin Wan Osman said continuous driving along the expressway could make drivers sleepy and tired.
