KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is seriously considering the use of natural gas for public transport vehicles provided adequate facilities, such as petrol pumps selling natural gas, are put in place, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
“If the adequate infrastructure is not in place it will be meaningless to implement the proposal,” Abdullah said yesterday, adding this had been proposed before but was not widely implemented.
