KUALA TERENGGANU: The poor and new Muslim converts in the state will receive an extra RM50 or RM100 each from the Terengganu Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Maidam) this year to help them celebrate Hari Raya.
Payments to those in the destitute category would be increased from RM200 to RM250 each and the needy from RM150 to RM200 each.
