Indon claims trial to submitting false info to SC

KUALA LUMPUR: An Indonesian businessman was charged in a Sessions Court here with submitting false information to the Securities Commission (SC). 

Wira Tjakrawinata, 48, is alleged to have not advised the SC as soon as he was aware the information provided to the SC, regarding a proposal of Omega Holdings Berhad dated Jan 30 last year, may be false. The information was required to be submitted in connection with the said proposal.
