KANGAR: A single mother whose 16-year-old son was electrocuted by an electrified perimeter fence in Kuala Sanglang was awarded a total of RM80,500 in damages by the Sessions Court here.
Che Puteh Abdullah, 49, had sued the National Fisheries Development Authority Board (LKIM) for RM100,000 after her son Rosli Hamdan was electrocuted on Nov 4, 2002 by the fence installed by LKIM at its fish farm in Kampung Tanah Timbul, Kuala Sanglang.
