PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Islamic Advancement Department (Jakim) has revoked the halal certification of a local company well known for its moon-cakes.
In a statement here, the department said the company would not be allowed to use the halal logo, which is to indicate a product is fit for Muslim consumption.
