PUTRAJAYA: Home Minister Datuk Azmi Khalid is frustrated that despite his officers’ continuous efforts to nab illegal immigrants and their employers, the 112 employers who have been brought to court so far have yet to be convicted.
“I am frustrated because none has been convicted but we continue to convict thousands of illegal immigrants. Some of them have been in detention centres for so long because they are supposed to be witnesses. It is also not fair to them.
