KUALA LUMPUR: International bodies and media have come under heavy criticism for not classifying the rebels in Sudan as terrorists.
The deputy secretary-general of the ruling National Congress Party in Sudan, Mehadi Ibrahim Mohammed, said the rebels had committed acts of terrorism as they had killed policemen and civilians.
