SHAH ALAM: The water tariff in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will see a marginal increase of between 2% and 4% as the Selangor state government is finding it difficult to maintain its high subsidy for water consumption in the Klang Valley.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said the state would ensure that the increase would be reasonable and not burden consumers.
