KANGAR: The Veterinary Services Department has recorded a significant drop in the amount of poultry and meat products brought in from southern Thailand following the avian flu virus alert in Kelantan.
Local authorities had already imposed a ban on all poultry and meat products from Thailand since early this year following detection of the disease in that country.
