KOTA KINABALU: Veteran Sabah politician Tun Sakaran Dandai was conferred an honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy for management by Universiti Malaysia Sabah at its sixth convocation ceremony where 2,296 received their degrees.
The 74-year-old Sakaran, who was former Sabah Chief Minister and Head of State, received his doctorate scroll from UMS Chancellor Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah, who is Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri yesterday.
