TAWAU: The proposed ferry service between the peninsula and Sabah and Sarawak is expected to begin early next year, Minister in the Prime Ministers Department Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili said.
Initial studies estimate that the return fare would be no higher than RM300 per passenger while the fare for a passenger car would be about the same as a days car hire fee in the peninsula, he said.
