IPOH: Thousands of Malaysians celebrated the launch of the month-long National Day festivities here with fireworks, patriotic songs and concerts by popular artistes that ran well after midnight.
People from all walks of life began arriving at the Ipoh Padang by 5pm yesterday, where they were entertained by artistes like Siti Nordiana, Tomok, Ahmad Jais, Ah Niu, Island, Sasi the Don and other artistes.
