CHIANG MAI: Local criminals are teaming up to form an organised syndicate which in turn forms a networking for transnational organised crime, Thai Deputy Prime Minister Gen Chavalit Yongchaiyudh said.
He said these people exploited the flaws of the globalised world and the differences in law systems as well as a lack of concrete international co-operation to commit crimes and maximise their illicit profits.
