JOHOR BARU: Malaysians must think positive and be optimistic when facing crisis, said Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman council chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik.
He said instead of running away from crisis, the people should look for solutions.
“We should think that whenever a crisis crops up, it also creates an opportunity.
“If we can think positive and be optimistic, I am confident that we can look for strategies to resolve a crisis,” he said in his speech after receiving an honorary doctorate in engineering management at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s 33rd convocation yesterday.
The university's pro-chancellor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah, who is the Tunku Mahkota of Johor’s consort, presented the honorary doctorate.
