KUCHING: The scenic Sungai Sarawak here has been chosen as the site for a spectacular show to mark the close of the Merdeka Month celebrations on Sept 16.
State Housing Minister Datuk Abang Johari Tun Openg said a procession of river floats and performances by leading recording artistes on a floating stage on the river would be the highlights of the evening celebration.
