PUTRAJAYA: Some 200,000 people are expected to attend the national-level Merdeka Countdown at the Kuantan Municipal Council field on Aug 30.
Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was scheduled to attend the ceremony together with Cabinet members.
