THE state will impose a 10% cess on exports of all unprocessed rubber products following the passing of an amendment to the Sabah Rubber Industries Board Enactment (1981).
The amendment empowers the state to charge a 10% levy on every kilogramme of Standard Malaysian Rubber 20 (SMR20), which is expected to see the state earning more than RM1mil annually.
