Troops only after Iraq is stable

KOTA TINGGI: Malaysia will only send its troops to Iraq when the war-torn country is stable and they will be under the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) banner. 

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said Malaysia and the OIC felt that it should not send troops for peacekeeping duty when their presence was not wanted by the Iraqis.
