Najib to meet Idris over by-election plans

MUADZAM SHAH: Umno deputy president-elect Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be meeting Terengganu Mentri Besar and Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh tomorrow to check on the state and division's preparations for the Kuala Berang by-election. 

He said they had been directed to make the necessary preparations after the seat fell vacant following the death of its representative Komaruddin Abdul Rahman from a heart attack on July 30.
